Concert Festival Rules Event Information Registration

Concert Festival Registration

To register your groups for concert festival, do the following in order:

1. Click HERE and complete the online Concert Festival Registration.

2. Next, complete a sponsor cover letter and send it with one check ($100 per group) payable to SCMEA Orchestra division to:

Christopher Selby, Spring Valley High School, 120 Sparkleberry Lane, Columbia, SC 29229

PLEASE: Send only the cover letter and check, and make sure it is sent by the January registration deadline. A late fee of $25 will be assessed after the registration deadline.

3. If you need a hard copy to give to your school bookkeeper, click HERE and print.

4. Finally, email the Concert Festival TEACHER FORM to your local site chair two weeks before the event. Also communicate the specific needs of your group (such as scheduling needs, seating, instrumentation, etc) to the local site chair. The local site chair is in charge of scheduling and running your local festival.

Please make a note that when submitting the Concert Festival form, the following option may be added:

For an additional $10 per group, a placard can be included with the group's name engraved. This placard can be affixed to the plaque or trophy. The placard must be ordered the same time that the registration form is submitted to Chris Selby. Type the name of the performing group as you wish it to read on the placard.
