Mission of the Orchestra Division

The mission of the South Carolina Orchestra Division is to:

• Promote and encourage the development of orchestra programs in South Carolina
• Provide continuing educational opportunities for the teachers in South Carolina
• Offer quality musical experiences for our students
• Encourage an interest in the study of string instruments beyond the school setting
• Cultivate community support for string programs in our schools
