Scale Requirements

C, F, G, D, B flat Major	upper 2 octaves for violin, viola, and cello; 2 octaves for bass
a, d, g, e melodic minor	upper 2 octaves for violin, viola, and cello; 2 octaves for bass

Scales should be performed with quarter note per scale degree, seperate bows with a speed of quarter note= 80

Sight Reading

All students will be required to sight read a brief passage as part of the audition.
